The protrait-feel in pose and angle here reflect a dignified formality, esp. in smooth flow of the figure & hair gently set apart, allowing torso to take centre stage. The slight tilt of the front, intended or not, actually makes this shot better with a natural sense of movement, and the cracked heart adds a small but sweet touch of vitality.

However, it is evident that the skeleton is an outfit pattern, and such dissonance with the perfect skull makeup kills the surreal effect. Still, this odd feel compensates with a bizarre yet innocently charming character, amplified with her clear gorgeous eyes. Disharmonious with closer view, but rather cute still.

It's great to see that you are further exploring these "death"-themed character shots, the "fakeness" of the torso doesn't really detract from the overall feel. A testimony to the flexible nature of the themes, which you embody with precise skill & creative blends.
