"People put themselves in boxes I just label them."
What happens to you when you label? One who strives to be themselves. Those who cannot be easily labeled, weather labeled from afar or not they keep to the label they have dubbed upon themselves. Plain and simple. "Myself" I am me. Nobody else. -------------------------------- The point of this series was to express through visual Art the Idea "People put themselves in boxes, I just label them" The person labeling all the other people was the perseon you see standing before you inside a simple box made of cardboard. He stood next to all the other boxes being quite proud of what he had done. And when it all comes down to it. He to is in a box. Even the person who tries so desperately hard to label everyone else. Is in a box all to themselves. They claim to be original. They claim to be... themselves. --------------------------------- This is the last photo for the box series, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. <3 It took alot of work, and alot of hours. Though, as you said in the first of this series, that we can be ourselves and yet labels are things that other people give us. Such as, an example (off the top of my head) is that if a woman is sexually open and honest about it, she's called a slut, but if she's closed up about it, she can be called a prude.
